Carol Bell is a strategic planning and public policy consultant with over 40 years of experience shaping business, education and local/state government issues. Bell is most widely recognized for her former role as the CEO of the Huntsville Committee of 100. Bell also played a leadership role in launching Big Spring Partners, Downtown Huntsville, Inc. and Launch 2035 – all economic development initiatives contributing to the growth and development of the North Alabama economic landscape.

Bell is certified in Nonprofit Board Education from BoardSource Inc. and received additional training from the Alabama Nonprofit Board Leadership Institute. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Auburn University and is a nationally accredited public relations professional. She is recognized as a Senior Practitioner by the Southern Public Relations Federation. Bell is a graduate of Leadership Huntsville-Madison County and Leadership Alabama, and serves on the Huntsville Downtown Redevelopment Authority. She is a past board member of the Chamber of Commerce of Huntsville-Madison County, Huntsville Industrial Group, Launch 2035, Big Spring Partners and United Way of Madison County.
